Once the slab has been poured, the plumbing needs to be connected to the sewage system.
Plumbers dig a trench next to the slab, where pipes are laid before the slab is poured.
String is used to ensure that the pipes are laid as level as possible to comply with industry standards.
The connections are sealed with a watertight PVC glue. The trenches are then filled, covering the underground pipes.
